The commissioners of three counties are assessing the condition of hand operated boats along Kiir river.
The commissioner of Majak county, Chol Adhol, says they have pulled seven boats out of the river to be mended. He says the boats will be repaired by technical team from international organization for migration. Twenty (20) boats were distributed along Kiir river and other seasonal streams to ease movement of people.
Residents are worried that they would be cut off during rainy season from crossing to other side of the river if nothing is done.
