The Abyei Special Administrative Area next week to conduct checkups and eye treatment.
The delegation of 15 people comprised representatives from the national ministry of health and national and foreign eye specialists.
The local health department said that the group will arrive on 7th November and continue working until the end of the month.
The director general of the health department Mr. Biong Nyok told (Abyei FM) that eye checkups and treatment are supported by “The Carter Center” in Juba.
“Out of the 7,000 target the health delegation will treat from 500 to 700 patients” he explained.
Bion stressed that medicines and eyeglasses will be available at Abyei Civil Hospital free of charge during the period of the campaign.
