The head of education, information, culture youth and sports confirmed that schools will remain close until further notification from South Sudan government.
Chol Pur Chol said the order was issued as a measure to prevent Coronavirus.
This response came after some school administrators inquired for the date of schools reopening.
Last month, South Sudan government issued an order closing schools and banning public gatherings till 20th April.
But there is no new order issued for the reopening of schools.
