Public Health official in Agok has urged traders to maintain butcheries clean to prevent diseases.
Dau Achuil, Public and Environmental Health observer in Agok told butcher men to practice continuous personal and environmental hygiene to keep flies away from meat.
This came after some residents complained that the meat selling places were dirty. Agok Administrative Unit has given butcher men a week to repair butcheries.
Mohamed Juach, one of the butcher men supports the order saying they will comply with it. Diseases such as diarrhea and dysentery can be got through eating contaminated food.
