A delegation from Islamic Council in Abyei Administrative Area visited Abyei central prison in Abyei town.
The team led by Abdelkharim Manyiel, Secretary General of Islamic Council in the area gave package of gifts to the prison.
The items which included bags of sugar and flour, soap, juice and tea leaves were handed over to the head of the prison for distribution to 26 inmates.
The Islamic body also visited patients in Abyei Civil Hospital.
