The Administration of Agriculture, Animal Resources, Fisheries and Forestry will vaccinate livestock in this month. Deng Goc, Director General of the Administration says cattle will be given vaccines to protect them against infections including blood poisoning.

This is a response to pastoralists’ inquiries. Goc added that dogs and poultry will be given the vaccines but goats are not part of the upcoming livestock vaccination.

In the end of last year, animal resources department and Save Children International vaccinated thousands of livestock in Abyei.
