Abyei Community Action for Development (ACAD) is giving flour enriched with nutrients to schools. The formula called Cereal Soya Blend (CSB) is also given to those diagnosed with malnutrition.
The distribution started on Friday and will end on Tuesday according to ACAD projects Manager. The food is being given to both primary and secondary schools.
Nyankat Achuol Kuol, a teacher at Comboni expressed her happiness and urged the organization to continue giving the food. She said each pupil received two packets of the flour.
But ACAD’s Projects Manager said the supplementary food ration was only for one month.
