The chief Administrator of Abyei Administrative Area on Friday removed the head of education, information, culture, youth and sports.
Kuol Alor Kuol said he relieved Mr. Chol Pur Chol to maintain stability in the administration he was heading. The removal comes amidst difference between the head of education, information, culture, youth and sports and his colleague, the director general. According to the chief Administrator, he intervened to ensure that this difference cannot affect the operation in the administration.
Chol Pur was appointed as head of the Administration of Education, Information, Culture, Youth and Sports last year. Chol was also the spokesperson of Abyei Administrative Area. Replacement to Chol has not been appointed.
