The head of Health Administration in Abyei Administrative Area has urged people to go for treatment in health facilities before the disease get complicated. Nyanwut Miyen says MSF hospital management reported people’s reluctance to come to hospital following COVID-19 outbreak.
According to her, people believe that doctors may suspect them of COVID-19. She added that keeping a sick person at home without treatment, can worsen the health condition and may lead to death.
