Bishop Gassis Foundation, a Catholic Church based organization will carry out an awareness about COVID-19. The campaign targets more than 2,000 children at Comboni primary and secondary schools in Agok. The two-day exercise will start on Thursday.
Pupils in class four, five and six in two Comboni primary schools and senior one students will take part in this campaign. Teachers of these three schools, education authorities and some of his colleagues will supervise the campaign.
The Program Manager for Bishop Gassis Foundation says children will be taught the fatality of Coronavirus and prevention. Billy Ombisa says the children will be advised to avoid gathering.
He added that the young people will also receive training on the dangers of early pregnancy. Billy says they do not want to lose learners in their schools during the closure of schools.
