A 27-year-old journalist has reportedly been killed in a road ambush in Warrap State.

Former Information Minister of the defunct Tonj state said Marko Agei Makor Chol was shot by gunmen while travelling to Tonj town.
William Wol Mayom said the journalist was riding a motorcycle when he got killed near his home village. The journalist had been working for Peace Radio for many years.
Wol said “leaders of Tonj have condemned the incident.”
No suspect has been apprehended for the killing of the “resilient journalist”. At least 10 South Sudanese journalists have been killed since South Sudan gained independence in 2011.
