The United Nations Interim Security Force  for Abyei has donated thirty seedlings of different trees to Agok community police station. The head of Agok Police Station Deng John Yak says the young trees are neem, acacia and mangoes. Yak says the seedlings will be planted within the compound.

Last year, UNISFA gave some seedlings to Abyei Youth Union. They were planted in Youth compound in Abyei town.

Turning Agok town greener, is an initiative Rumamer County Youth Association is leading. The association in October last year promised to plant thousands of trees along the main and feeder roads in Agok, the highly populated town in Abyei Administrative Area.
