Police to release three kids murder investigation results soon

The South Sudan Police says it will announce the results of investigation into the killing of three little children soon. The police spokesperson said they are making conclusion on the exact killer of the girls.

“We are almost finishing, like 80% of the result is complete. As soon as we get the concrete result, we will announce it -maybe today -then will make the results public,” Major general, Daniel Justin said to Eye Radio

He said none of the suspect confessed the killing. However, he said they are close to identifying the killer. The siblings aged 9, 7 and 4 were murdered while watching television in Rock City residential area in Juba on Saturday. 16 suspects were arrested on Tuesday. They include neighbors according to the police.

Two days after the incident, the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir issued a statement condemning the incident. He condoled the family of the victims and directed law enforcement agents to arrest the suspects and bring them to book.
