The Administration of Finance and Economic Planning in Abyei Administration agreed on resetting taxes for livestock sale in Amiet market on Tuesday. The Acting Head of Finance and Economic planning, Malony Toong says the new fee per cow is 3,000 South Sudanese Pounds. The decision came into effect on Tuesday.

Livestock dealers in Amiet market had complained that the 5 percent tax was high. They asked the administration to reset it to a fixed amount.
