Community police in Abyei Town have dispersed a demonstration of 121 former Imdad corporate on Thursday.
Imdad is a Jordanian service provider company contracted with UNISFA. According to a statement seen by Abyei FM, former workers protested delay of their post service dues.
The document showed that staff worked 1-2 years between 2019 and 2020. Three leaders of the demonstrators were detained short before their release. In a related development head of former staff committee Ayiik Ajuong said that Imdad promised to pay arrears with 24 hours.
