The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei UNISFA) has promised to distribute 500 solar powered radio sets to rural women in Abyei. The aim is to enable the beneficiaries to get messages of gender-based violence so that they will be able to make an informed decision.

“We believe women are the agents of modernization; they are agents of coordination. Their socializing initiative will help us go a longer way in reaching out especially gender-based violence messages.”
