
The meeting brings together Ngok Dinka Chiefs and Misseriya Chiefs to dialogue ways to bring stability. The dialogue which began yesterday is being facilitated by United Nations Interim security force for Abyei – UNISFA.
In statement publish at UNISFA’s official Twitter account, the conference aims at stopping movement and incursion of armed groups into Abyei area.
The statement added that the meeting will serve as a platform to engage the two communities together help UNISFA effectively implement Abyei weapons free zone agenda.
