Upper Nile State conference postponed

The office of the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar has announced that the planned conference for Upper Nile State has been postponed. It says the postponement came after it was realized that arrangements to conduct the conference were not complete.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday evening, the date for the conference will be communicated. The conference which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday aims at bringing communities of Upper Nile state to dialogue among themselves.

The delegates were to be addressed by both President and the first vice president in a three-day conference.
