Some families have expressed disappointment for loses they encountered through provision of school fees, uniforms, and scholastic materials.

Director General, Mr. John Ajang described the news as baseless.

“We didn’t receive report indicating reclosure of schools. We have education forums in all states. If there is something like that it can appear. If there is Corona the peace dialogue which is in Juba now would have been put off. People must not speak rumors if the high committee for coronavirus has not released statement. The school will go on, as long as we haven’t received a report from ministry of health and ministry of education.” He said.

Schools were closed in March last year due to fears of spread of coronavirus .
