The Abyei area member of Council of States, Hon. Tabitha Alic Chol Minyiel visited education department and science lab on Wednesday.
According to department’s director general, Hon. Minyiel came to extend thank to teachers and administration’s staff for the hard work during the conflict.
John Ajang said Hon. Minyiel didn’t expect pupils to pass Primary Leaving Examinations.
He said they had asked Hon. Minyiel to help with technicians to operate the lab. The director general on behalf of the administration thanked deputy head of education committee at Council of States, Hon. Ayen Majok for the arrival of lab components to Abyei.
Science lab is for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and computer comined.
Hon. Minyiel promised to work hard to make sure education needs in Abyei reach concerned authorities in Juba.
